Book Haul!

As I mentioned in a previous post, the work stress level is high which directly correlates to my desire to read physical copies of books. So I ordered some historical fiction from Thriftbooks.

Ember Island: A Novel by [Kimberley Freeman]
Lighthouse Bay: A Novel by [Kimberley Freeman]

I enjoy Kimberley Freeman’s writing so I bought three of her books. They are dual timeline which I am obsessed with right now.

Fatal Inheritance: A Novel by [Rachel Rhys]

I just enjoyed the blurb of this book about a woman whose life is in danger after she receives an inheritance.

The Letter: Absolutely heartbreaking World War 2 love story by [Kathryn Hughes]

Dual timeline, part epistolary apparently. Need I say more?

The Address: A Novel by [Fiona Davis]

I enjoyed reading the sample of this book.

The Secrets of Saffron Hall: An absolutely gripping Tudor historical fiction novel by [Clare Marchant]
The Lions of Fifth Avenue: A Novel by [Fiona Davis]

These last two are Netgalley ARCs I can’t wait to read.

I look forward to reading and reviewing these beauties in the months to come!

Happy reading!
