Reading Update!

Finished Death in the Stacks! I have to say I enjoyed this. 3.5/5 stars.

We are back in Brair Creek watching Lindsey and crew solve another mystery. In case you didn’t know, this book is a crossover book – featuring characters from The Cupcake Mysteries and the The Hat Shop Mysteries– two of Ms. Mckinlay’s other cozy mystery series. The appearances were more like a commercial for the other series but not overly done. I liked the appearances. At the time the Hat Shop Mysteries had been discontinued but has since been revived. You could tell she was trying to give closure to fans of that series with a particular happening.

The mystery had enough twists to keep you guessing and now that the love triangle was settled in the last book- it was a pleasant way to pass the time on a rainy afternoon.
